Some time ago I wrote a little story about three kids traveling through the dream of a witch. This was my first attempt to illustrate and I ended up creating a lot of pictures just to visualise the places my characters would visit. If I ever publish this story, I would not use most of these pictures. But I wanted to display them anyhow. There will be three categories, „scary forest“, „green forest“ and „town of the sky-rocks“.

As you can probably tell from the mix of media in the Gallery, this was where I started my journey to illustrate. I briefly considered digital art. For some time I mixed the watercolor paintings with digital art. At one point, however, I settled into drawing the pictures only with watercolour. I would love to do something digital though, when I find the right story for it.
